A broadband renewal is not only a price and speed exercise. It sets the conditions for safeguarding, cloud access, teaching continuity, incident response and the trust's ability to recover when the primary connection fails.
External gigabit capacity cannot repair a weak internal network. The next readiness question is whether cabling, switching, wireless, power and segmentation can carry a reliable, secure experience to every part of the school.
Cloud adoption can simplify access and scale, but it also concentrates dependency in identity, connectivity, integrations, provider availability and data portability. The right question is what the school can still do when one of those layers changes.
